Obituary of Pearl Friedman

Pearl Friedman, 79, of Freehold Township; a generous and creative spirit, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Care One at King James, Atlantic Highlands. Mrs. Friedman was born in Bronx, N.Y. Mrs. Friedman was a microfiche clerk for the Central Jersey Bank and Trust Company, Freehold. She was a member of the National Council of Jewish Women. Her husband, Samuel S. Friedman, died in 2001. She was also predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Honig. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Barbara A. Friedman, Freehold Township and Manhattan; a sister, Rhoda Cohen; and two nephews, Charles and Jeffrey. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on at 11:00 a.m. Visiting will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial donations to S.P.C.A. of Monmouth County would be appreciated. Creative and passionate, she will be missed terribly.
