Obituary of Dorothy Edna Oelkers Baumgartner

Dorothy Edna Oelkers Baumgartner, 99, of Howell Township died April 6, 2010 at Brandywine Assisted Living, Howell Township. Born in New York City she moved to New Port Richey, Florida in 1974. In 2003 she moved to New Jersey. She was predeceased by her husband Francis J. Baumgartner in 1978. She was a secretary at the Encyclopedia Britannica, New York City and a homemaker. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Francis J., Jr. and Joyce Baumgartner, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Raymond Peterson, Manalapan Township; a grandson, two granddaughters, and four great grandsons. A memorial service will be held at the Maplewood Chapel Mausoleum, 169 West Main Street, Freehold on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
