Obituary of Minister Sheila Annette Barr

Minister Sheila Annette Barr, 51, mother, grandmother, sister and friend departed this life Monday, January 4, 2016, in Brick Township, New Jersey. She was born on April 1, 1964 to the late Wilmer Barr, Sr. and Edith Lee Thompson. She was born in Neptune, New Jersey and was a former resident of Freehold Borough, New Jersey and resided in Lakewood, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilmer Barr, Sr. and Edith Lee Barr, a brother, Wilbert Barr, Jr. and a sister, Bathsheba Parker. Leaving to cherish her memory is one son, Darryl Taylor, Jr., one daughter, Chanya Taylor, one grandchild, Kai Alexander Taylor, and a god son, David Rivera. Three brothers, Stanley Parker of Summerville, South Carolina, Willie Barr of Toms River, New Jersey, and Robert Barr of Starksville, Mississippi. Five sisters, Loretta Coker of Ladson, South Carolina, Patricia Barr of Lakewood, New Jersey, Bobbie Kelley of Riverview, Florida, Minnie Harrison of Jackson, New Jersey, Brenda Brown of Valdosta, Georgia; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The viewing will be held at the church, Intercessory Tabernacle Ministry, 500 Arlington Ave., Lakewood on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Immediately following are the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold, New Jersey.
