Obituary of Peter S. Rubinetti
Peter Salvatore Rubinetti, 93, of Freehold Township died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at home. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold Township since 1970.
Mr. Rubinetti was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a partner in Judson Jewelry Corporation, New York City. He was a consummate model maker and highly respected member of the profession. He had attended Columbia Gemology and Mineralogy School and loved to design jewelry for his family and friends.
Mr. Rubinetti was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. He enjoyed the casinos, racetrack, and the lottery and was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.
His beloved wife, Mary Rubinetti, died in 2003.
Surviving are two sons, Frank Rubinetti and his wife Susan, and John Rubinetti; a daughter, Susan Rubinetti and Harry Hunt; a sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Leo LeoGrande; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Marissa Rubinetti; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
