Obituary of Emma Small Crick

Emma Small Crick, 86, of Jackson Township died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Barley Healthcare Center, Jackson Township. Mrs. Crick was born in Union Township. She was an egg candler for Colonial Poultry Farm, Freehold Township before her retirement in 1977. Her husband, James E. Crick, died in 1990. Surviving are two sons, James Crick, Jr., North Carolina and Hughie J. Crick, Glen Gardner; a daughter, Gertrude A. Terrell, Howell Township; a brother, Belcher Small; three sisters, Josephine Woods, Minnie Stidham, and Sophie Small; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
