Obituary of Frank X. Doyle
Frank X. Doyle, 87, of Freehold Township died Friday, April 30, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Doyle was born in Jersey City.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 and was discharged as an aviation machinist mate first class.
Mr. Doyle was a Department Chief for Western Electric where he was employed for 40 years until his retirement in 1980.
He was predeceased by first wife, Lee Marie Doyle; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, John and Marian Doyle and Will Doyle.
Surviving are his wife, Joan and their daughter Kelly; a son, Frank X. Doyle, Jr. and his wife Leslie; three daughters, Carol Dixon and her husband Dennis, Kathleen Proctor and her husband Paul, and Janet Doyle; nine grandchildren, Dennis, Kristen, Leanne, Dana, Paul, Danielle, Michael, Conor, and Laurel; three great grandchildren, Edwin, Charles, and Jacob; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Tom Flaherty; and a sister-in-law, Marghie Doyle.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations to the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans or CentraState Medical Center Foundation, 916 Highway 33, Suite 6, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
