Obituary of Daniel F. Trojan

Daniel F. Trojan, 103, of Freehold died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Trojan was a lifelong Freehold resident. He was a weaver at the former A.& M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold where he was employed for 40 years. Mr. Trojan was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former member of the Holy Name Society. His wife, Winifred Hope Trojan, died in 1997. Surviving are his children, John W. Trojan and his wife Vera, Winifred M. Freeman and her husband Robert, Kathy Schwerthoffer and her husband Anton, and Robert D. Trojan and his wife Gail; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. The viewing will be held at the Higgins memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
