Obituary of Karen M. Van Buren Lombardo

Karen M. Van Buren Lombardo, 48, of Hazlet, passed away May 16, 2010 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank surrounded by her family. She was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker. She lived in Manchester, NJ prior to Hazlet 6 years ago. She is survived by her parents John and Harriet Hanlon of Holmdel, her sons Michael Peragine Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA. and Robert Van Buren of Hazlet, her daughter Christina Van Buren of Hazlet, her brothers Robert Oshinski of Aberdeen and Jackie Oshinski of Freehold, her sister Colleen Pennington of Englishtown, her nephews Chad Pennington and Robert Oshinski Jr. and her niece Cheryl Anne Oshinski. Visiting hours will be Thursday, 5pm -9pm at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ 07728. Funeral services will begin Friday, 9AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, 10AM, from the Church of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold. Entombment will take place at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers a donation to the family would be appreciated.
