Obituary of Donna Marie Shaw-Dabney

Donna Marie Shaw-Dabney, of Freehold Township, who died on January 7, 2016, was born in Jersey City to Charlotte Thelma Carter-Shaw and the late Wayne King on February 28, 1959. She was raised with nothing but a true fathers love by James Ernest Shaw. He loved his little girl so much he adopted Donna. In October 1982, she married Oren K. Dabney, Sr. and two children were born to this union: a daughter, Tiffany Sharee’ Dabney and a son, Oren Keith Dabney II. Both parents raised their children with pure love and respect. On July 21, 2000 Donna received what she called her “big blessing”, her beloved Granddaughter, Shanyce Amina Tashi Collins-Dabney." The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. and at the Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral services will be held at the church at 10:30 am followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
