Obituary of Helen R. Gravatt

Helen R. Gravatt, 81, of Millstone Township died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Gravatt was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Freehold Township before moving to Millstone Township. She was a school bus driver for the Millstone Township Board of Education before her retirement. Her husband, Samuel C. Gravatt died in 2008. Surviving are a son, Gary B. Gravatt and his wife, Rita, Freehold; two daughters, Jeanette Lynn Gravatt, Clarksburg, and Helen Marie Tarnecki and her husband John Plainsboro, ; three brothers, Peter, Charles, and John Globis; two sisters, Catherine Lewis and Agnes Benson; and three grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, and Adam. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations to the National Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
