Obituary of Isabel I. Bibby

Isabel I. Bibby, 93, of Howell Township died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Pine Brook Care Center, Manalapan Township. Mrs. Bibby was born in Currie, Iowa and had resided in the Freehold area for over 50 years. She was an assembler for the former Brockway Glass Company, Freehold Township. She was also a waitress at the Trotters and Pacers Diner, Freehold Township. Mrs. Bibby was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Freehold Township. Her husband, Bartlett W. Bibby, died in 1970. A son, Donald Foster Bibby, died in 1953. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Stefanick and Regina Hilgesen. Surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Michelle Bibby, Goose Creek, S.C., John and Pegeen Bibby, Merritt Island, Florida, Thomas and Nancy Bibby, Neptune City, Peter and Marian Bibby, Galloway Township, and Stephen and Kathy Bibby, Freehold Township; two daughters, Marcia Wheelhouse, Howell Township and Catherine Vourtsis and her husband Phil, Manalapan Township; five sisters, Rosalia Baskin and her husband Harold, Lakeport, California, Helen Jones and her husband David, Independence, Missouri, Florence Cecere, Edina, Minnesota, Elaine Gorshe and her husband John, and Lorraine Kreucher, all of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R. C. Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
