Obituary of Vera E. Richardson

Vera E. Richardson, age 92 of Freehold, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at The Manor, Freehold Township. She was born in Belford and resided in Freehold for the past 58 years. She graduated from Freehold High School in 1936. She was employed by the Sigmund Eisner Company during World War II and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She remained in the garment industry until her retirement. She was a volunteer for the Monmouth County Nutrition Program, Freehold for 12 years after her retirement. She is predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Hulda Richardson and three brothers, William, Carl and Raymond. She is survived by her brother Neil Richardson of Missouri and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Monday, August 2, 2010 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, 18 Spring Street, Freehold, NJ 07728.
