Obituary of Dorsey Parker

Dorsey Parker, 58, of Englishtown died Monday, August 2, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Melfa, Virginia. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was employed at Nestle Company, Freehold for many years. Mr. Parker was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Englishtown and the Walter J. Conley Lodge, IBPOE of W, Freehold. Surviving are a daughter, Darcey Parker, his mother, Emma Tiggs Brown; and a brother, Robert E. Brown, Sr. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
