Obituary of Thomas H. Hankinson

Thomas H. Hankinson, 74, of Morganville died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Farmingdale and had resided in Morganville for the past 50 years. He was employed at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown before his retirement. He was a graduate of Rider University. Mr. Hankinson attended the United Methodist Church, Morganville and was a life member of the Marlboro Fire Company. His wife, Arlene Hankinson, died in 2008. Surviving are two sons, Donald J. and his wife Mari-Lynn, Millstone Township and Robert D. and his wife Lisa, Monroe, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Robert Jr., Heather, Dylan, and Zachary. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
