Obituary of Nancy E. Withrow-Davis

Nancy E. Withrow-Davis, 66, of Manalapan Township died January 14, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch surrounded by her family. Formerly from Dayton, Nancy was retired from the New Jersey Division of Taxation where she was employed for 40 years. She passed down her love of horses to her children and grandchildren. Nancy was passionate about horses, strategy games, her grandchildren, and of course the San Diego Chargers. She was a lifetime member of the Appaloosa Horse Club. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Herbert E. and Marguerite M. Downing Wright. She is survived by her husband, Chester L. Davis; two children, James M. Withrow and his wife Doreen, Manalapan Township and Melanie L. Gomes and her husband Roy, Henderson, Nevada; and three grandchildren, Cerina, James and Wyatt. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92 St., New York, NY 10128 would be appreciated.
