Obituary of William J. Morrin
William J. Morrin, 78, of Freehold Township died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at home. Mr. Morrin was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was a technical instructor for New York Bell Telephone, New York City. After his retirement he was an electrical contractor in the Freehold area.
Mr. Morrin was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Freehold Township; and a member of Freehold Council No. 1672, Knights of Columbus and the United States Power Squadron.
Surviving are his wife, Annie McCaffrey Morrin; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan M. and Kenneth J. Simonik; a granddaughter, Catherine S. Simonik; a brother, Thomas Morrin; and a sister, Margaret Henry.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R. C. Church on Friday at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
