Obituary of Carolyn K. Schue

Carolyn K. Schue, 77, of Howell Township died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. Mrs. Schue was born in Freehold and had resided in Howell Township since 1953. She was a court officer at the Monmouth County Court House, Freehold before her retirement. Her husband, Irving Schue, died in 1995. Surviving are three sons, James Irving Schue, Daniel William Schue, and Robert Elwood Schue and his wife Cynthia; two daughters, Linda Susan Specht and her husband, Donald and Pamela Kay Bennett and her husband Bruce; three sisters, Dorothy Burdge, Marion Vinyard, and Phyllis Smith; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Joshua, Katie, Kevin, Kyle, Robert, Jr., and Jessica; and five great grandchildren, Anthony, Patrick, Anna, Isabella, and Cody. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
