Obituary of Teresa Jordan

Teresa Jordan, 88, of Howell Township died January 14, 2016 at home. She was born in New York City and had resided in Lakewood before moving to Howell four years ago. Mrs. Jordan was a stenographer for the Monmouth County Division of Social Services before her retirement. Her husband, Kenneth L. Jordan, died in 1984. She was also predeceased by a sister, Louise Quinn. Surviving are three sons, Kenneth Jordan and wife Susan, Robert Jordan and wife Annette, and Christopher Jordan and Kathi Dzielak; seven grandchildren, Kenneth, Andrea, Kassandra, Tyler, Cheryl, Craig, and Chad; four great grandchildren, Lauren, Danielle, Connor, and Caleb; two great great grandchildren, Liam and Leah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
