Obituary of Emanuel DiSalvatore
Emanuel DiSalvatore of Englishtown, 85 and known as Bill to his family and many friends, died Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Jersey Shore University Medical Centre, Neptune Township. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in the Carnasie section for 32 years prior to moving to Englishtown 16 years ago.
Mr. DiSalvatore has been retired from the New York Post newspaper where he was part of the newspaper delivery organisation for 45 years. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War Two prior to receiving an honourable discharge in year 1946.
Mr. DiSalvatore was a member of the Marlboro Greens Mens Club.
His wife, Madeline DiSalvatore, nee Laezza, died suddenly in 1991 at the age of 59.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Christine DiSalvatore, New York, New York; and a daughter, Denise DiSalvatore, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Centre Street, Freehold, on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
