Obituary of Raymond S. Wodell

Raymond S. Wodell, 75, of Jackson Township and Fort Myers, Florida, died Friday, September 17, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Paterson, he lived in Freehold Township prior to moving to Jackson Township 11 years ago. Mr. Wodell was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a contracting officer for the U.S. Army, Fort Monmouth for 25 years, retiring in 1993. Prior to that, he worked at the Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, for six years. Surviving are his wife, Barbara June Bataille Wodell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Colleen Wodell, Point Pleasant, and Mark and Mary Wodell, Freehold Township; a sister, Edna Lou Sunico, Cherry Hill; and five grandchildren, Annmarie, Jaime, Loribeth, Julia and Sean. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory to the Jackson Township First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 516, Jackson, NJ 08527 would be appreciated.
