Obituary of David Aaron Glatzer
David Aaron Glatzer, 98, of Freehold died Thursday, September 23 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mr. Glatzer was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he resided before moving to Freehold in 1948.
He was a furrier in New York City, a poultry farmer in Freehold, and a furniture refinisher for Sear’s until his retirement.
He was a member of the Workmen’s Circle Lodge, Freehold.
He was predeceased by a son, Raymond Glatzer, who died in 1993.
Surviving are his wife of 73 years, Florence Levy Glatzer; a son and daughter-in-law, Harvey J. and Bonnie Glatzer; four grandchildren, Steven Glatzer, Denise Eckert and husband Keith, Kenneth Glatzer and wife Sherry, and Keith Glatzer and wife Dara; and four great grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah, Kennedy, and Jared.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to noon followed by graveside services at Workmen’s Circle Cemetery, Freehold. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
