Obituary of Catherine Grassi

Catherine Grassi, 84, of Manchester Township died January 17, 2016. She was born in North Bergen and resided in Point Pleasant before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. Her husband, Leo Grassi, died in 2003. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Eugene Bruno Surviving are a son, Christopher Grassi; a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Paul Hennessy; a brother, Charles Bruno; a sister, Helen Manna; and five grandchildren, Cailyn, Stephen, Sean, Kellie, and Brayndi. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
