Obituary of Brother Michael J. O'Neill

Brother Michael J. O’Neill, F.S.C., 89, of Lincroft died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at De La Salle Hall, Lincroft. Brother Michael was born in New York City and received the Holy Habit of the Christian Brothers on September 7, 1939. He was a graduate of Catholic University, Washington, D.C. and received a Master of Art Degree from Manhattan College and a Master of Science Degree from Union College. His assignments included La Salle Institute, Troy, N.Y., Lincoln Hall, Lincolndale, N.Y. St. Raphael Academy, Pawtucket, R.I., De La Salle Collegiate High School, Detroit, Michigan, Bishop Loughlin High School, Brooklyn, N.Y., De La Salle School, Newport, R.I., and Christian Brothers Center, Narragansett, R.I. A viewing will be held at De La Salle Hall, Lincroft on Friday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy and interment will be held at the Christian Brothers Center, Narragansett, R.I. Memorial donations to De La Salle Nursing Development, 810 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
