Obituary of Helen P. Donoghue

Helen P. Donoghue, 86, of Tinton Falls died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune Township. Mrs. Donoghue was born in Waterbury, Connecticut. Mrs. Donoghue was a graduate of St. Mary’s Nursing School, Waterbury. She was a strong supporter and volunteer for the ARC of Monmouth County. Surviving are her husband, John J. Donoghue; a son, Robert Charles Donoghue; a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Elaine A. Donoghue and Dr. John Smulian; a brother, Charles Pilkewich, Naugatuck, Conn.; two sisters, Sophie Rogers, Middlebury, Conn. and Trudy Bienkowski, Pompano, Florida; and two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Laura Smulian. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Town Square Auditorium at Seabrook Village, 3000 Essex Road, Tinton Falls. Memorial donations to the ARC of Monmouth County, 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07712 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
