Deb deserved a long happy life. She worked hard, cared for others, and was a smart, funny and lovely person. Patches, Nick, so loved and so lucky. If the universe makes any sense at all, Patches greeted her last night and they are effortlessly skipping (Deb) and romping (Patches)together in the sun (not too hot, and no humidity). I only wish Deb could be here now, doing same, for a very long time to come. I am heartbroken that you aren't, dear Debs, and hope we get to catch up again someday. And I know that if we do, it will be without skipping a beat. I will sorely miss our chats and notes, and will forever wish we had managed to cross paths more often.
