Obituary of Dorothy Ann Donechie

Dorothy Ann Donechie, 77, of Freehold Township died Monday, November 15, 2010 at CareOne at Wall, Wall Township. Mrs. Donechie was born in Harrison and had resided in Freehold Township since 1961. She was a quality control clerk for Peerless Tube Products, Freehold Township where she was employed for 26 years before her retirement 1997. Mrs. Donechie was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Legion of Mary of the church and the Order of Carmelites. She was predeceased by two daughters, Victoria Lee Donechie in 1955 and Tracy A. Griffin, in 2002. Surviving are her husband, James W. Donechie, Jr.; two sons, Craig S. Donechie and his wife Nancy, Willingboro, and James W. Donechie, III, Farmingdale; two daughters, Jamie L. Herman and her husband Michael, Manasquan and Lora L. Altman, Beachwood; a brother, Clymont Rankin, Delaware; a sister, Jane Wehner, Spring Lake Heights; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated.
