Obituary of Mary Ann Watson

Mary Ann Watson, 55, of Howell Township died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Watson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and Chestnut Hill College, both of Philadelphia. She earned a Master of Art Degree from La Salle University. Mrs. Watson was a published professional German and Spanish language translator. She was also a secretary for the Holmdel Community United Church of Christ, Holmdel Township. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Whiting where she served as a lector. She was predeceased by a sister, Kay. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Dr. J. Francis Watson, Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church; a son, Ian F. Watson; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Mary Wylesol; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Debra Watson; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 40 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
