Obituary of Adela Penksa Schwerthoffer

Adela Schwerthoffer (nee Penksa) beloved Wife, Mother, Granny and GG passed away peacefully at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford Delaware on December, 7 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Schwerthoffer was born in Barberton, Ohio and lived most of her life in Manalapan before moving to Delaware 10 years ago. Mrs. Schwerthoffer was a member of the Manalapan Township Police Auxiliary. Surviving are a son and daughter in law; Anton and Kathy Schwerthoffer, Freehold, two daughters and son in laws; Audrey and John Mc Meekin, Lewes, Delaware and Adela and Robert Rescigno, Advance, North Carolina; two brothers William Penksa, Old Bridge and John Penksa, Phoenix, Arizona; one sister Dorothy Penksa, Englishtown; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The viewing will be held Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Higgins Memorial Home. Memorial donations to the Freehold First Aid Squad or the Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963 would be appreciated.
