Obituary of Anna Primiano

Anna Primiano, 88, of Manalapan Township died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Brandywine Assisted Living, Englishtown. Mrs. Primiano was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. She was a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II and was a seamstress for Lincoln Dress Company, Carlstadt before her retirement. Mrs. Primiano enjoyed bowling at Wallington Lanes and caring for her vegetable and flower garden. Her husband, Joseph Primiano, died in 1963. Surviving are son, Richard Primiano; a sister, Sister Vera, Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great; two grandchildren, Joseph and Ryan; and a great grandson, Nicco. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
