Obituary of William Gillet

William Gillet, age 63, of Manalapan, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold. Mr. Gillet was born in Elizabeth, NJ and was a resident of Cranford, NJ prior to Manalapan where he resided for the last 27 years. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Ward Products, North Brunswick, NJ. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #5903. He also served as an EMT for the Englishtown First Aid Squad. Surviving is his wife Maureen Milko Gillet, two sons; Bryan Gillet of North Brunswick and Sean Gillet of Manalapan, two daughters; Tara Liloia of VT., and Allisyn Gillet of Missouri, one sister Lillian Hovanec of Metuchen, three grandchildren; Trevor, Emily and Gavin and his mother-in-law; Elizabeth Homiski of Englishtown. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 6:00 until the funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside committal will be held Monday, 12 noon at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
