Obituary of William Harrison Hunt

William Harrison Hunt, 86, of Freehold Township passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Long Branch and lived all his life in the Freehold area. He retired from the maintenance department of the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan Township. He was an avid vegetable gardener; the produce from which pleased friends and neighbors. Surviving are his son, Richard Hunt and his wife Lauri, Ocean Township; two daughters, Nancy Hunt, Tennessee and Patty Ordino and her husband Anthony, Florida; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Dorothy Reichey, Howell Township and two caring and loving friends, Marjorie and David DeVitis. Cremation and a service will be private. Memorial donations to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515 would be appreciated. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
