Obituary of Edward A. Budrewicz
Edward A. Budrewicz, 80, of Monroe Township died Friday, January 7, 2010 at home. He was born in Kearny.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart Award with two oak leaf clusters.
He was an operating engineer for Local No. 825, Dayton before his retirement.
Mr. Budrewicz was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Englishtown; and a member of American Legion Post No. 434, Englishtown, Korean War Veterans Association, and Military Order of the Purple Heart.
His wife, Frances Erndl Budrewicz, died in 1990.
Surviving are his children, Linda Detwiler, Edward Budrewicz, Jr., Laurie Jones, Lisa Kennedy, Joseph Budrewicz, Lana Castellano, and Michael Budrewicz; 17 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s R. C. Church, 91 Still``house Road, Millstone Township on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
