Obituary of Margaret May Cosgrove

Margaret May Cosgrove of Freehold Township passed away on January 20, 2011 at Applewood Estates, Freehold Township. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Cosgrove, Sr. Margaret resided in Freehold for the past twenty five years. She previously lived at Elk Forest near Chesapeake City Md. and was retired from the University of Delaware. She enjoyed various artistic activities including painting, sewing, jewelry making and sculpture. She loved spending time with her grandchildren at her home on the C&D canal. Margaret is survived by her daughter Roberta Bennett of Freehold Township and her son Howard E. Cosgrove, Jr. (Joyce) of Wilmington Delaware. She also leaves six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The Burial Office and Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Freehold on Monday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 33 Throckmorton Street, Freehold, NJ 07728 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
