Obituary of Michael E. Kirby

Michael E. Kirby, 53, of Howell Township died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold Township. H e was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong resident of the Freehold area. He had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a custodian for the Freehold Regional High School District. Mike was an organ donor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR. His father, Eugene J. Kirby, died in 1985. Surviving are his wife, Debby Kirby; two sons, Michael Tyler Kirby and John Porreca; his mother, Barbara Kirby; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Jean and Bob Holmes. A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Foundation www.arthritis.org would be appreciated.
