Obituary of Carlo Strano

Carlo Strano, age 90, of Marlboro, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Messina Sicily Italy. He resided in Queens New York prior to Marlboro for the last 20 years. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a shipping and receiving clerk. Surviving are his wife, Lucy Wine’ Strano and many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, March 30, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 31, 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
