Obituary of Marion Peter

Marion Peter, 75, of Freehold Township died Monday, April 11, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Peter was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Old Bridge before moving to Freehold 21 years ago. She was a graduate of Trenton State College where she earned a Bachelor and Master Degree. She was a teacher in the Manalapan-Englishtown Schools for 33 years before her retirement in 1990. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Dr. Joseph A. and Barbara Browde; sister, Susan Rovira and a stepbrother, James E. Swalm. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will be held at noon followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
