Obituary of Richard A. Hanson

Richard A. “Dick” Hanson, 59, of Manalapan Township died Monday, April 11, 2011. He was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong Manalapan resident. He was an automobile mechanic. Dick was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Englishtown. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Dorothy Touton Hanson. Surviving are a son, Douglas Ralph Hanson; two brothers, Robert Hanson and Ralph Hanson and wife Barbara; three sisters, Jane Mancuso, Lorraine Yoncak and husband Richard, and Connie Gant; his ex-wife, Linda Hanson; and many nieces and nephews. Dick was loved and will be missed by everyone. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Foundation of University of Medicine and Dentistry, 120 Albany Street, Tower II, Suite 850, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 would be appreciated.
