Obituary of Elizabeth M. Homiski

Elizabeth M. Homiski, 92, of Manalapan died April 13, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Homiski was born in Elizabeth. She was a “Rosie The Riveter” manufacturing values for B-29 aircraft during World War II and was recognized by the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Milko and her second husband Leo Homiski. Surviving are a daughter, Maureen E. Gillet, Manalapan Township; a brother, Walter Hattrich; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday followed by interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Newark.
