Obituary of Gladys Brooke Brydon

Gladys Brooke Brydon, 90, of Freehold Township died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Bayonne, she lived in Spring Lake Heights and Beachwood prior to moving to Freehold Township ten years ago. Mrs. Brydon was a self employed antique dealer for many years, retiring in 1998. She was predeceased by her husband, John Brydon, in 1987. Surviving are two sons, Anton Bacardi, Dayton, Ohio, and Gwain Grant, Seattle, Washington; a daughter, Donna M. Grant, Montclair; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from Noon to 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Donations in her memory to the Sierra Club, 85 Second Street, San Francisco, CA 94105-9625 would be appreciated.
