Obituary of Joseph N. Wright

Joseph N. Wright, Sr., 73, of Freehold passed away on April 19, 2011 at home. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, he lived in Perth Amboy prior to moving to Freehold 44 years ago. Mr. Wright was an assembler for Ford Motor Company, Edison for 30 years, retiring 14 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran; and an avid fisherman. He was predeceased by a daughter, Doreen Wright, in 1993. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Wells Wright; a son, Joseph N. Wright, Jr., Chicago, Illinois; and two daughters, Angela Wright, Asbury Park, and April Wright, Catasauqua, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Aisha Wright, Ricky Williams, Linda Peltomaa, and Dorian Wright; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
