Obituary of Bernadette R. Rogan

Bernadette R. Rogan, 70, of Freehold died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at home. Mrs. Rogan was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Matawan for 24 years before moving to Freehold 12 years ago. She was an accounts receivable manager for Lorco Petroleum, Elizabeth. Mrs. Rogan was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Surviving are her husband, Colin A. Rogan; five sons, Liam, Timothy, Eugene, Sean, and Brian his wife Shellie; a brother, Thomas Lowder; a sister, Patricia Alessandrino; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, and Luke. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
