Obituary of Olga Sorochka

Olga Sorochka, 82, of Freehold Township died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Sorochka was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Her husband, Michael Sorochka, Jr. died in 2001. Surviving are a son, Nicholas Michael Sorochka and wife Sue, Jackson Township; two daughters, Deborah Ann Miller and husband Gregory, Corsicana, Texas, and Jean Ann Sorochka, Howell Township; four granddaughters, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Michelle and Breanna Sorochka; and a nephew, Theodore Nicholas Talpasz and wife Carolyn. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s R.O. Orthodox Church, Jackson Township on Saturday at 10: 00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. Memorial donations to St. Mary’s R.O. Church, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson, NJ 08527 would be appreciated.
