Obituary of Albert B. Krosner
Albert B. Krosner, 80, of Freehold Township died Friday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Krosner was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and resided in Freehold Township since 1977.
A much loved husband, brother, and uncle, his sense of humor was legendary among his family and friends and touched all who met him. He was a passionate sports fan (Go Yankees!), an accomplished photographer, and an infectiously enthusiastic audiophile.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a graduate of City College of New York and was a member of the school’s Alumni Association.
Mr. Krosner was a financial executive for Revlon, Inc., Edison for 34 years before his retirement in 1992.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancylee Gehman Krosner, with whom he shared a 41 year love affair; a brother, Frederick Krosner, Raleigh, N.C.; two nephews, Seth and David Krosner; five nieces, Lauren Kass, Michelle Hiatt, Jennifer Hopkins, Meredith Gehman, and Erika Gehman; two brothers-in-law, Gene Ray Gehman and Robert E. Lee Gehman; and three sisters-in-law, Anna Mae Kass, Betty Lou Haas, and Rose Mary Maclachlan.
Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Caregivers Respite Care Assistance Program, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 or a charity of your choice.
