Obituary of Stanley J. Buziak
Stanley J. Buziak, 94, of Toms River died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Buziak was born in Jersey City and had resided in Jersey City and Bayonne before moving to Toms River.
He served as a bombardier in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Buziak was a mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service, Kearny before his retirement. Prior to that he was employed by the American Can Company, Jersey City. He worked hard all his life to take care of his family.
He was a member of the American Legion Post of Bayonne.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Sigmond Buziak and two sisters, Blanche Buziak and Helen Turner.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Stavitzski Buziak; three sisters, Margaret M. Sheedy, Cream Ridge, Stella McMonagle, Millington, and Jean Norton, Bayonne; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua R. C. Church, 457 Monmouth Street, Jersey City on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
