Obituary of Feliciano Colon

Feliciano “Uchy” Colon, 36, of Freehold died July 27, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Freehold Township. He was born in Boston, Mass. and had resided in Freehold since 1988. He was a graduate of Freehold High School, Class of 1993. Surviving are two sons, James Nicholas Colon and Anton Feliciano Colon; his father, Feliciano Colon, Puerto Rico; his mother, Angela DeJesus, Freehold; three brothers, Angel F. Colon, Jackson Township, Jose H. Colon and his wife, Lucia Moscoso, Lakewood and Anderson Colon, Jackson Township; a sister, Beatriz Colon and her husband Jose Gelpi, Jackson Township; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
