Obituary of Brother William T. McGovern

Brother William T. McGovern, F.S.C., 84, of Lincroft died Friday, August 12, 2011 at De La Salle Hall, Lincroft. Brother William was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received the Holy Habit of the Christian Brothers in 1945. He was a graduate of LaSalle Hall Juniorate, Ammendale, Maryland and De La Salle College. His assignments included De Salle College, Washington, D.C., St. Francis Vocational School, Eddington, Penn., La Salle High School, Wyndmoor, Penn. He was in residence at De La Salle Hall since 1994. Surviving are a brother, Harry J. McGovern and a sister, Margaret McGovern Zepp. A viewing will be held at De la Salle Hall, Lincroft on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Memorial donations to De La Salle Nursing Development, 810 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ 07738 would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
