Obituary of Jeanne Rand Naglak
Jeanne Rand Naglak, 52, of West Windsor Township died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Greenwood House Hospice, Ewing. She was born in Bronx, N.Y. and had resided in Bergenfield and Teaneck.
Mrs. Naglak was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 1979 and Brooklyn Law School, Class of 1986.
Jeanne was an attorney of counsel to Huff, Moran, & Orron, Cranbury, and a financial consultant with AXA Advisors, and formerly Senior Vice President in various private banks in New York and New Jersey.
She was a member of Congregation Beth Chaim and the congregation’s choir. She served on the Board of Trustees of The College of New Jersey, various other nonprofit organizations, and supported HomeFront, New Jersey, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, and Womanspace.
She was predeceased by her father, Stanley Rand, her mother, Phyllis Rand Maller, her stepfather, Nathaniel Maller, and a sister, Joanne Freundlich.
Her family was the most important thing in the world to her.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Naglak; two children, Stephanie Blair Naglak and Joseph Min Naglak all at home; and a brother, Lawrence Rand, Watertown, Massachusetts.
Funeral services will be held at Congregation Beth Chaim, 329 Village Road East, West Windsor on Tuesday, August 23rd at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Workmen’s Circle Cemetery, Route 33, Freehold. No flowers please. Donations may be made in her memory to any of the charities aforementioned or to Greenwood House, Ewing, N.J. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
