Obituary of Theresa Dawidowicz

Theresa Dawidowicz, 83, of Matawan died Friday, September 2, 2011 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township. Mrs. Dawidowicz was born in Elizabeth and had resided in Matawan since 1964. She was employed at Charles of the Ritz, Holmdel Township before her retirement. Mrs. Dawidowicz was a communicant of St. Lawrence R.C. Church, Laurence Harbor. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent S. Dawidowicz in 2002, a daughter, Diane Watson, in 2008 and a son-in-law, William B. Watson, III in 2009. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Dawidowicz and Donna Chong and Dr. John and Carol Dawidowicz; a daughter, Patricia Saltzberg; nine grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Watson, Andrew and Emily Dawidowicz, Emma and Adam Saltzberg, Adonia, Jed, and Zachary Snyder, and Dr. Robert Dobrenski; and great granddaughter, Amaya Snyder. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro Township. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
