Obituary of Magdalena Krawec
Magdalena “Martha” Krawec, 80, of Englishtown died Monday, September 5, 2011 at home. Mrs. Krawec was born in Sulina, Romania and had immigrated to the United States in 1950. She resided in Newark before moving to Englishtown in 1957.
Mrs. Krawec was supervisor of Central Microfilm for the County of Monmouth, Freehold where she was employed for 17 years before her retirement 18 years ago.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Englishtown.
Her husband, Roman Krawec, died in 2006.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Virginia Krawec, East Brunswick; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosalie and John Symchik, Englishtown; a brother, Karl Schinner, Australia; a sister, Hedy Kruger; Germany; grandchildren, John, Christopher, and Nicholas Symchik; Kimberley Krawec and Kelly Bond; and two great grandchildren, Tristan Krawec and Nathan Symchik.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy R. C. Church, 58 Main Street, Englishtown on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, South Bound Brook. Memorial donations to Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714 would be appreciated.
