Obituary of Johannes Wilden

Johannes Wilden, of Morganville died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at his home. He was born in Benrad-Huels, Germany and immigrated to the United States with his wife and three oldest children in 1959. He was formerly employed at NL Industries in South Amboy and later started his own masonry business, Stonekraft. After retiring he devoted himself to his wife and his German Shepherds. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved his family very much. Surviving are his wife of almost 62 years Hannelore Wilden; his son Johannes J Wilden Jr and former wife Francine Wilden; four daughters, Eva-Maria Baer and her husband Klaus, Barbara K. Peterson and her husband John, Karin Wilden Rappleyea and her husband Roger, and Ursula Wilden Imholte and her husband Mark; a sister Anna Platzen and brother Jakob Wilden in Germany; and 12 grandchildren. The family will have a memorial service this fall. Memorial donations to the Monmouth County SPCA would be appreciated. Higgins Memorial Home Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
